Hi everyone. This is E-Law or T Zookley, host of the Rant, the podcast where we pull back the curtain and break down the people, the policies and the politics of our higher education system. We here at the Rant want to thank all of you for continuing to tune in, listen and watch this podcast channel, whether you're watching us on this YouTube channel or following us on your favorite podcast platform. We hope that you've enjoyed the topics and the great guests that we've had on the Rant. I know I've had a lot of fun talking with our guests or ranting about the latest thing happening in higher education. I hope that you've gotten something out of these discussions, whether it's something that you just learned about that's going on in higher education, or something that reinforces your values or your thinking about what's going on in higher education across this country. In my recent episode, I had a great opportunity to talk with Zakiya, Ella Smith and Michael Sorrell about Black learners in America. I got some really great comments back from you all, so thank you. Thank you for listening in and sharing your perspective and your comments about a topic as important as Black learners are to America's future. My conversation with Phil Hill about the EdTech marketplace was one of the most watched, most listened to episodes that we've ever published. Thank you for following and for getting something out of these discussions that you may not have already known about our higher education system or about the different players and perspectives that make up the higher education marketplace. Now I'm excited to announce that we have a set of new what we call founding sponsors here at the RANT that will ensure that we continue to produce great content, find great guests and rant about whatever it is that's going on in America's higher education system. I want to welcome to the RANT Arizona State University. Asu is one of our nation's leading research universities and is also leading the way in innovation in teaching and learning. I also want to welcome RIA, a mission-driven organization that is helping adult learners thrive in our new economy by helping them reconnect with a great higher education experience. Also, welcome to Open Classrooms. Open Classrooms is an amazing online platform that is bringing certified apprenticeship model to learners of all backgrounds and helping train and recruit talent through this apprenticeship model. And then, finally, Ellucian. Ellucian is helping higher education institutions across the country and throughout the world run more efficiently, and it gives learners a more personalized experience and more up-to-date information about their education journey. These four institutions are leading the way in post-secondary innovation and success and I'm proud to call them our partners. You can learn more about them and about the rant by visiting our website at wwwfourleggedmediacom. That's the number four. I'll put the web address in the comments section so you can easily link to it.
Speaker 1:Now let me also talk about what's in store for our listeners going forward. A lot is going on in higher education these days and, given that this is an election year, things are going to get wild. There's going to be plenty to rant about in 2024. Everything from individuals calling for the return of the SAT and elitism in higher education to the impact of AI on teaching and learning, to the rollout of the new FAFSA from the Department of Education and the collapse in confidence in higher education and the push to increase economic mobility for our learners. We'll talk about those topics and many more here on the rant.
Speaker 1:If there are topics that we should cover or guests that we should invite onto the rant, please let us know. Leave them in the comments and we will make sure and follow up on that. And help us continue to make this podcast work for people throughout the country by subscribing to this YouTube channel and by following us on your favorite podcast platform. This helps us reach more people. Every time they go on and search for a podcast for a topic that has been covered by the rant, It'll more likely pop up in their search, so remember to hit subscribe and give us a thumbs up if you like the content. With that, I want to thank you all for continuing to follow us here on the rant. It's been a pleasure being with you and we look forward to many more episodes to come.
